It’s also a feeling. It’s home, wherever that may be, however long you’ve been there, whatever you’re eating.
It’s who you’re with, how you’re eating, what you’re eating on, the stories being told as you eat, and all the smells and sounds you can hear around your plate. The laughter, the jazz, the sweet but subtle candle burning in the background. Food is, fundamentally, an experience for every sense of the body.
Food is so much more than just fuel.
